Saturday Get-a-Way is a once a month, day long retreat for international students, scholars, workers, and their families. Our farm is located within an hour of many colleges, major universities, and cities in Georgia, and Eastern Alabama.
Guests arrive in the morning for outdoor activities, including nature walks, bird watching, outdoor games, and other fun. After lunch (included), guests participate in optional nature craft activities or Bible stories, and free time which can include music, reading, games, or just relaxing on our porches. During rainy or cold weather, we spend more time inside, relaxing around the fire and playing games. Retreat days are a great time to practice English and make new friends!
- Reservations are required, and limited to 20 participants
- All ages are welcome
- The cost is free
- Most participants provide their own transportation to the farm, but we can help you find transportation if necessary
Retreat Hours: (You do not have to be present for the entire schedule)
10:00 am to 3:00 pm (Alabama Time)
11:00 am to 4:00 pm (Georgia Time)
